In pursuance of order No.149 issued by the Director General dated 8/14/2024, October 16 through 18, 2024, XXIII research and development contest conference among young scientists and specialists of the National Nuclear Center RK will be held in Kurchatov t. on the premises of the branch office ‘Institute of Radiation Safety and Ecology’ of RSE NNC RK. This year the contest conference coincides with the 90th anniversary of the day when First Director General of the RSE NNC RK G.A. Batyrbekov was born. The Organizing Committee and the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of RSE NNC RK are inviting staff members of RSE NNC RK branch offices, RSE ‘INP’ and JSC ‘Kazatomprom’ aged under 36 years old to present their papers (fundamental, applied, engineering) at the contest conference on the subject matter of RSE NNC RK activities.

September 2 – acceptance of entries
September 20 (until 6 pm) – acceptance of contest papers
September 24 – decision on the contest admittance and drawing lots
October 4 – issue of the second information statement
November 22 – paper submission deadline for the publication in the ‘NNC RK Bulletin’ (as per journal requirements)

From ‘Provisions on the Annual Research and Development Contest Conference Among Young Scientists and Specialists, RSE NNC RK’:
The contest admits original research papers and experimental developments (published over the last 2 years in the form of scientific articles, conference papers or reports), which represent independent research by a specialist or a team of specialists (4 authors at most).
Contest papers are decided upon by STC and Academic Councils of institutes.
Contestants at least 1 month prior to the beginning of the contest conference are to submit their papers to the secretary of jury, prepared and designed as per GOST 7.32-2017.
Contest papers are submitted in 2 forms – soft and printed along with a STC statement. Article texts in papers should be sent to the secretary of the organizing committee via its members.
Articles to be published in the journal ‘NNC RK Bulletin’ have to be prepared according to design requirements quoted in the journal and at the website https://journals.nnc.kz/jour/about/submissions#authorGuidelines.
Young scientists and specialists from other scientific and educational institutions are welcome to participate out-of-contest.
