CONFERENCE VENUE

The Conference will be held in Kurchatov, Abay Region, the Republic of Kazakhstan at the premise of the Republican State Enterprise “National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.

The Conference program will include tours to the sites of Semipalatinsk Test Site (STS) – “Experimental Field” and “Atomic Lake”, experimental complexes (research reactors IGR and IVG.1M, Kazakhstan’s Material Testing Tokamak KTM, etc.), exhibition hall of STS history.

The working languages of the Conference are Kazakh, Russian and English.

4.STRENGTHENING THE NUCLEAR NONPROLIFERATION REGIME

  • Elimination of infrastructure and consequences of nuclear weapon tests
  • Support and strengthening the nuclear nonproliferation regime, minimizing the use of highly enriched uranium in civil sector

ABSTRACTS OF PAPERS

Abstracts of papers should be submitted electronically by September 1, 2025 to the e-mail address: conf2025@nnc.kz

The scope of abstracts should not exceed 1 sheet in A4 format (210×297 mm) with the margins:
upper, left, down – 25 mm; right – 15 mm.

Font – Times New Roman, 12pt in size, single space.

Title of the paper should be typed in uppercase letters, below are the initials and last name of the authors, name of the organization, including the city and country they represent.

The proceedings of paper abstracts shall be published electronically prior the beginning of the Conference.

SCHEDULE

06 October, Monday – arrival of the conference participants

07 October, Tuesday – opening of the conference, “round-table” session

08 October, Wednesday – session

09 October, Thursday –closing of the conference, technical tours.

10 October, Friday – departure of the conference participants.

REGISTRATION FEE

Standard registration fee for the Conference participants is 100 USD, in KZT according to the exchange rate as of the date of payment.

The fee may be transferred until September 1, 2025 to the bank accounts of RSE “National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan” of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
