Future Nuclear Physicists

Every year students and master students of core professions get training at scientific and experimental base of the National Nuclear Center. Many of them start with introductory practice and finish with preparation of their dissertation during the training in a higher educational institution.

Broad scientific base existing at the NNC RK provides the trainees with the possibility to carry out scientific researches in core directions and choose suitable profession.

For this purpose, from early this year Council of young scientists and specialists of NNC RK has arranged three introductory tours for students, who are at undergraduate training in the affiliation “Institute of Atomic Energy”. The tours were attended by students from regional higher education institutions: S. Amanzholov EKSU, D. Serikbayev EKSTU, Shakarim University, as well as Al-Farabi KazNU.

In the introductory tours, students and master students of Kazakhstan higher educational institutions visited the following facilities: Kazakhstan material testing tokamak KTM, “Baikal-1” Complex of Research Reactors, museum of Semipalatinsk test site, and JSC “Park of Nuclear Technologies”.
