Congratulations on the Award of State Scientific Fellowship!

       State Scientific Fellowship was awarded to Nurzhan Mukhamedov, Head of Reactor Fuel Laboratory of the National Nuclear Centre of the Republic of Kazakhstan!

         The results of competition were announced on December 29 via online ceremony organized by the Committee of Science, MES RK.

         Nurzhan Mukhamedov graduated from doctoral studies in 2017 and defended his dissertation for PhD degree on the theme: “Research of Heat-Physical Properties of Reactor Core Elements Melting”.

         He is engaged in problems of development, design, manufacturing and assembly of in-pile reactor irradiation devices, organization and planning of works, development of programs and methods of reactor and post-reactor studies, processing of results, issue of reporting documentation. Currently he is actively involved in the work on substantiation of fast reactors safety, carried out within the framework of international (BREST, RF), (SAIGA, France) and national scientific and technical programs.

         Nurzhan is the author and co-author of more than 30 scientific publications in domestic and foreign ranking journals included in the citation database Web of Science and Scopus and 5 patents for invention. According to scientometric databases Scopus and Web of Science Hirsch index is – 2.

He was also supervisor for internships of undergraduate and graduate students.
