Online Training “Introductory Course to Nuclear Power Program”

The National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan (NNC RK) continuously conducts professional personal development courses for employees, both internal and by nominating employees to specialized seminars, trainings. It should be noted in particular a multi-year cooperation with Japanese partners in training for nuclear power industry. Currently, NNC staff members are participating in an online training course, "Introductory Course to Nuclear Power Program" organized by Japan Atomic Power Company (JAPC).

During the month, the current state of primary and secondary energy in Kazakhstan, approaches and problems to multi-purpose nuclear energy using examples from other countries, the contribution of nuclear energy to carbon neutrality, nuclear energy safety issues, including the choice of nuclear reactor type with respect to basic safety requirements will be considered.
