Congratulations on PhD Thesis Defense

Assiya Kunduzbayeva, Head of the Laboratory for Physical and Chemical Researches, has successfully defended her Ph.D. thesis on the theme “Study of the Mobility of Artificial Radionuclides in the Soils of Semipalatinsk Test Site at Different Conditions of Radionuclide Contamination Formation”.

It was held in Obninsk city (Russian Federation) at the Dissertation Council of the All-Russian Scientific Research Institute of Radiology and Agroecology.

For reference. Assiya started her labor and scientific activity in 2004 in the Institute of Radiation Safety and Ecology of RSE NNC RK, right after her graduation with Master’s degree in Chemistry from Semipalatinsk State University named after Shakarim. At the beginning of her labor activity, she worked in the Laboratory of Radiochemical Studies for some time, and then she started to study soils deeply. She continued her scientific activity in the field of artificial radionuclides speciation forms in the soils of the former Semipalatinsk Test Site
