Young Personnel in Science

The Republican State Enterprise “National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan” (NNC RK) congratulates Nurzhan Mukhamedov, the Head of Reactor Fuel Testing Laboratory, Institute of Atomic Energy Branch of the RSE NNC RK on awarding him the academic status  – Associate Professor in the scientific direction 10200 – Physical Sciences. Relevant Order of the Chairman of the Committee for Quality Assurance in the Field of Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 207 dated February 8, 2024 has been posted on the web-site.

In 2011, after graduation from Semipalatinsk State University named after Shakarim, Nurzhan Mukhamedov began his activity in the NNC RK. In 2019, he headed the Reactor Fuel Testing Laboratory. Today, under the leadership of the young specialist, computational and experimental studies of radiation heating of structural materials of nuclear and fusion engineering are successfully implemented, studies are under way to determine the feasibility of the SAIGA Experimental Program and to investigate behavior of fast reactor fuel rods in severe accidents.
