Attendance in the international forum "ATOMEXPO - 2024"

The National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan (NNC RK) participated in the ATOMEXPO – 2024 International Forum, which recently took place in Sochi (Russia). The key topic of the Forum this year was defined as “Clean Energy: Creating a Future Together,” during which the role of nuclear power engineering in the national strategies for climate change combating was discussed.

Within the framework of the Forum, with participation of NNC representatives, topical sessions and panel discussions were held on the topic “Unique Capabilities of Research Reactors in the Implementation of Non-Energy Projects”. Issues of using reactor research facilities to develop innovative solutions in the peaceful uses of nuclear energy were discussed.
