The young scientists of the National Nuclear Center of RK took part at the “Young Scientists Summit – 2024” held at Astana IT University.
Talented young scientists of the Republic of Kazakhstan who work in different scientific fields brought together at the annual event that served as a platform for exchanging ideas, joint work under scientific-technological projects and discussing of science development matters in our country.
The first part of summit was presented in the format of question-answer interactive session. The event was opened by the welcoming speech of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek. The first Members of Youth Specialists Council under the MSHE of RK were as speakers. After a brief introduction, the deadlines for competitive bids and reports examination; projects commercialization problems and attracting business investors; competitive bids provision and preparation quality; development opportunities for young scientists as a part of post-PhD program; continuity of generations; importance of learning English language for ensuring an opportunity of communication with foreign scientists and etc. Furthermore, the participants had the opportunity to ask interesting questions to representatives from the Committee of Science, Fund of Science, and National Center of Scientific-Technical Expertise during the Summit.
The event concluded with the announcement of regular third members of Youth Specialists Council under the MSHE of RK.
The second part of summit will be held on April 25-26, in Turkistan city with the partnership of the International Science and Technology Center and include workshops, presentations by young scientists as well as networking opportunities and meetings with Japan experts. The subjects covers a wide range of issues including interdisciplinary collaboration, international cooperation, space and artificial intelligence, climate change, healthcare and medicine, scientific and industrial cooperation as well as future trends of science and technology development.
