The Director General of National Nuclear Center of Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Prof. Erlan Gadletovich Batyrbekov was elected an academician of National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The corresponding decision was made in the General Meeting of Academicians of National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

This is a high evaluation of his decades-long research work in support of peaceful use of atomic energy.
