6th International Conference on Radioecology and Environmental Radioactivity

In November of this year, the staff of the National Nuclear Center of RK participated in the 6th International Conference on Radioecology & Environmental Radioactivity – ICRER 2024 that was held in Marseille (France).

The conference was attended by scientists and specialists in the field of radiation physics, chemistry, medicine, biology and ecology from different countries.

Participants reports covered a wide range of directions related to the climate change, environmental monitoring, assessment of radiation dose rate of human and environment, modeling of the radionuclides transfer and radioecology improvements using artificial intelligence, also with the latest achievements in radioactive waste management and new developments in the field of measurements and metrology.

Scientific results of RSE NNC RK staff were widely presented at the section “Understanding and modeling of radionuclides mobility and bioavailability in the environment.”
