Congratulations on the state award!

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, dated April 9, 2025 No 836 for outstanding achievements in the field of science, the Chief Scientific Officer of the National Nuclear Center, Academician of the National Academy of Natural Sciences of Kazakhstan, Laureate of the Al-Farabi State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of Science and Technology, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Mazhyn Kanapinovich Skakov, has been awarded the “Qurmet” Order. 
The staff members of the National Nuclear Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan sincerely congratulate Mazhyn Kanapinovich. This award is a high recognition of his outstanding contribution to the development of national science and the strengthening of the country’s scientific potential.
For many years, M.K. Skakov has held key positions within the NNC RK, working as Deputy General Director for Science in the RSE NNC RK. Since 2013, he has headed the Institute of Atomic Energy. Under his leadership, the institute has successfully implemented scientific and technical programs, research, and projects in priority areas of nuclear energy and technology for the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Mazhyn Kanapinovich is actively participates in scientific research conducted at unique NNC RK experimental base, as well as in the training of scientific personnel—postgraduate students, doctoral candidates, and young specialists. 
The full list of Mazhyn Kanapinovich's scientific works encompasses over 400 publications that reflects his high professionalism, profound scientific knowledge and invaluable contribution to development to the science. His works continue to inspire the young generation of scientists and engineers to pursue new discoveries and achievements.
