“March for Parks” in the National Nuclear Center of RK

          The National Nuclear Center of RK took part in international environment protection campaign “March for Parks”.

           The international large-scale environment protection campaign is an annual public action uniting all involved people around the idea to support protected natural areas.
          The purpose of the campaign is to attract the attention of all habitant of the planet to the issues of protected natural areas, provide practical assistance in conservation and development of nature reserves, promoting the proud for our natural assets and sense of responsibility for its condition.

          “No doubt, each of us is responsible for the natural asset, for ecological condition of our planet, - commented Erlan Batyrbekov, Director General of NNC RK. – Today we are setting the young plants of various trees, which in future will improve ecological condition of our town, but also beautify Kurchatov town. I believe the park that we are creating will become a favorite resting area for our residents”.

         The young plants are delivered by state forest reserve “Semey Ormany”, being the organizer of the similar campaigns in Semey region.

         The park is located at Tauelsizdik Street behind one of the buildings of the National Nuclear Center of RK. We made preliminary layout of the park area, and last year using our own funds we installed watering system. Employees of NNC RK within a year will water and tend the green planting.
