ХIV International Scientific Conference for Students, Graduate Students and Young Scientists “Lomonosov–2018”

In April 20-21, 2018, Kazakhstan affiliation of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University in Astana held ХIV International scientific conference for students, graduate students and young scientists “Lomonosov-2018” devoted to the 20th anniversary of Astana city.

More than 450 abstracts of young scientists from all over the world applied for the participation in the conference. The conference was participated with speeches by 154 nominates. Plenary session was held in seven sections. The section “Regional ecological issues: modern methods and approaches” was attended by young scientists of the National Nuclear Center of RK, they presented 4 oral reports on the topics:

• “Life-time evaluation of strontium-90 content in bone tissue of farm animals” (Baigazy Symbat);
• “Evaluation of efficiency in remediation of radioactive contaminated territories by plowing” (Baiserkenova Togzhan);
• “Study into distribution of radionuclide contamination in natural lakes of STS” (Mamyrbayeva Ainur);
• “Study into conditions for water contamination in water of the test site territory” (Toktaganov Togzhan).

According to the results, Ainur Mamyrbayeva was awarded a winner title in ХIV international scientific conference for students, graduate students and young scientists “Lomonosov–2018” and at the final plenary session awarded I degree diploma.
